Dr. Gracie Castillo began practicing dentistry in 2016. However, she knew she wanted to become a dentist from the age of 15. “I luckily had always had pleasant experiences with my own dentist and wanted to find a career where I could provide a service to others,” said Dr. Castillo.

Dr. Castillo graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences from the University of the Pacific. She went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Howard University College of Dentistry. She also completed an advanced education in general dentistry residency at the University of California, Los Angeles.

Valuing continued education, Dr. Castillo has completed courses from the renowned Spear Education in restorative design, composite restorations, and occlusion in clinical practice. She also completed coursework in functional occlusion at the Dawson Academy. Plus, she is CEREC trained and certified in SureSmile clear aligners and the Laser Assisted New Attachment Procedure (LANAP) for gum disease treatment.

One of the many reasons patients love her is her listening skills. Dr. Castillo empathizes with them, helping them obtain optimal oral health at a pace that is comfortable for them. She loves walking a patient through a procedure from start to finish. She values the trust her patients give her in their treatment. By keeping things as simple as she can, Dr. Castillo helps them make the best decisions for their dental care moving forward.

Outside of work, she loves yoga, stretching, and practicing mindfulness and wellness. She also enjoys walking, dining at local restaurants, and traveling whenever possible.
